Megastar Chiranjeevi is making his come back with 150th project ‘Khaidi No 150’, which is progressing at brisk pace under the direction of VV Vinayak. The movie is doing fantastic pre release business. Earlier Dil Raju, Suresh Babu and Allu Aravind were popular to grab the rights of Telugu movies for Nizam areas for whooping price but now one more name has been added in the list and they are none other than Narayandas Naarang and Sunil Naarang. The Narage duo of Asian Enterprises has acquired the Nizam rights of Khaidi No 150 for whooping price of Rs 21 Cr of which Rs 2.5 Cr recoverable amount. It is the highest ever for Chiru in this region. Recently Asian Enterprises finalized the hot deal with Baahubali makers as they bought the Nizam rights of Baahubali 2 for the whooping price of Rs 50 Cr. Khaidi No 150 is the remake of Tamil hit movie ‘Kaththi’ starring Vijay. Actress Kajal Aggarwal is playing female lead whereas Raai Lakshmi will be seen shaking legs on item number. It is produced by Ram Charan and set to hit the theaters on the occasion of Sankranthi 2017.

Two Titles registered for Mahesh 23
Superstar Mahesh Babu is playing the role of intelligence officer for the upcoming bilingual big budget action drama under the direction of AR Murugadoss, it is being bankrolled by Tagore Madhu and NV Prasad. It is the first time when hot diva Rakul Preet Singh is sharing the screen space with Mahesh Babu. According to the latest buzz, the makers have registered two titles in the film Chamber. One title is Agent Siva and the other one is Abhimanyu. Now the movie lovers and fans of Superstar are very confused. The official announcement regarding the title of the movie is expected on the occasion of Diwali. Tollywood Superstars Who Regretted Rejecting Blockbusters
Like Pawan Kalyan's dialogue in Attarintiki Daredi: 'Luck knocked on your door, but you were too busy sleeping to notice it', our star heroes have also kissed goodbye to luck due to their poor choices. Being actors, they are offered roles in various films. And being actors, they choose the projects which they think will work well & distance themselves from those films which they believe will fail. However, if those rejections turn out be blockbusters then it not only causes regret to the star & it also gives others the scope to criticise & make fun of the actor's choices. However, it'd be fun to imagine how well our heroes careers would shaped up if they had accepted such films. As the veracity of the older stars' rejections cannot be ascertained due to the lack of credible sources, we've listed out the rejections of the stars of recent times which went on to become blockbusters.
Wonder what influenced Tarak to miss out on these blockbusters. His rejections have totalled to 8 and all of them have set the cash registers ringing. He rejected Dil, Arya, Athannokade, Krishna, Bhadra, Kick, Srimanthudu & Oopiri. He regretted his negatory response about Bhadra for it went on to become a trendsetter in violence.

Pawan Kalyan: 6 Rejections
Pawan Kalyan is another addition to this list. Pawan gutsily rejected a total of six films which are Idiot, Amma Nanna O Tamil Ammayi, Athadu, Pokiri, Mirapakay, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu. Of all the above, he regrets the most on missing out on Athadu. As for Mirapakay, he acknowledged his poor decision in Gabbar Singh by uttering the film's title (Mirapakay) at the very end. It is worth mentioning that both Mirapakay & Gabbar Singh were directed by Harish Shankar.

Mahesh Babu: 2 Rejections
Mahesh Babu excersised caution during his rejections. He was Gautam Menon's first choice for Ye Maya Chesave. However, the star rejected the script for he felt it was bland and that it didn't suit him. Recently, he was offered the Gona Ganna Reddy part in Rudramadevi. However, he rejected the macho role as he felt that it didn't suit his persona.

Suriya was Puri's first choice for Businessman. However, due to scheduling conflicts, he opted out and he was promptly replaced by Mahesh Babu. It is directed by Raghava Lawrence and milky beauty Tamannah Bhatia is playing the lead role. ISM Review Too many Leaks in this!
“Ism” is another crazy title from Puri Jagannadh which generated interest from the day of the shoot. Starring Kalyan Ram as an angry young man, Aditi Arya as his lady love and Jagapathi Babu, the film raised huge expectations as another solid film with the forceful writing of director Puri. Story : The plot is audacious to begin with. Sultan (Kalyan Ram) is a street fighter in a place which looks familiar like Bangkok who falls for a girl Alia Khan (Aditi Arya).
It turns out Alia is the daughter of the dreaded Don Javed Ibrahim (like Dawood Ibrahim) who has a web of illegal empires apart from handling slush piles of politicians money in a self-run bank called Bank of Paradise. Sultan and Javed strike a rapport over things nostalgic like Kareem Beedi and develop a nascent friendship.Until it dawns that there is a romance building between Sultan and Alia. Jawed tries to nip it in the bud but the plot thickens here with explosive revelations about the cash nexus he has with politicians in India. The man who blows the lid off is doing through a network of journalists and hackers getting into networks of big banks and their servers and then naming and shaming the culprits who steal the nation’s billions away from the people who need them. Analysis: A neat and audacious plot is wasted with unimaginative screenplay and a story that moves with false starts and abrupt scenes. Characterisations are weak and lack depth.
Whether it is Kalyan Ram or Jagapathi Babu or Aditi Arya, there is inconsistency all over. Jagapathi Babu’s role begins as a polished Don but gets diluted as the reels progress and you figure out he doesn’t have a spine on many matters to tackle his adversaries better- a lot of his potential as a subtle villain gets wasted in first half making the story collapse like a house of cards in the second half. The burden of playing baddies then falls on the comic gang of Posani Krishna Murali who tries to salvage the film but he lacks the unusual punch last seen in “Temper”. Aditi Arya is looking good but unlikely she will bag more roles – Puri’s heroine usually combines glamour and cuteness, she lacks both. Kalyan Ram is the hero who pulls some good punches in the second half in the courtroom scene.His dialogues inter-linking the widespread corruption in India to the issues of farmer suicides, poverty, rupee depreciation and the loot that is greater than what the British have taken out of India is well-reasoned and hits the bull’s eye.
But for that scene, and a few fights, he doesn’t show the maturity and depth of a Nandamuri hero expected of him. As a hero, he gets a new body language with additional attractions of a tanned body and a Schwarzenegger body with a misaligned mop of hairdo that makes him like a cross between Tom Cruise and Van Diesel. But his dialogue delivery, his puzzled expressions and his incompetent acting fail to uplift him higher,it looks he is not paying enough attention to establishing himself as a star who is bankable, exudes charisma and fire dialogues of varying lengths like most of his clan.His strengths are more on the minimalistic side but they are getting monotonous, as monotonous as the violent themes in most of his films except “Pataas”.If there is a deliberate strategy to distinguish himself in his career, it is a different story but the rate at which he produces himself, usually backs a new director (except this one) and risks on dangerous plots and new heroines looks quite a bold business model for any dynastic hero. On that count, Kalyan is different but this may not give success unless it is undesirable for him. Music by Anup Rubens is good in few songs. BGM by Anup Rubens is better than many of his earlier films as he uses a lovely mixture of guitar in most emotions and in few of the melodious songs. The film doesn’t score high on entertainment or comedy the way Puri is noted for.That makes it tedious and unbearable as much as it is predictable. Puri’s failure in this film must be a reminder that he needs to get back to his basic strengths of writing good dialogues and blending with dynamic screenplay that tells a story well with twists.
We saw flashes of that brilliance in “Temper” but this film fails on that.The ending is pretty banal and predictable as in most Puri’s films despite valiant attempts to camouflage a hackneyed screenplay and lackluster direction – perhaps weaker than most of his earlier films. At a particular juncture, the multiple themes of wikileaks (Grand Leaks), money laundering, corruption, farmer apathy, multiple scams – all are allowed to run amok on the story where the director loses control of the cruise.When you tell a story, don’t mix documentatry elements for sensationalism sake and dilute the telling of a good story – that is the main nemesis of this film which makes it one of his worst outputs in years. And yes,title justification has to be granted because this “Ism” is all about “Journalism”. In working out the film’s theme, Puri and his team of co-directors and writers have done no big research on how hacking is done or how Julian Assange and Edward Snowden operate (there is more nuance to their rise and modus operandi than the bare-bones characterization given to the protagonist of the film). Verdict : Ism is an example for lazy writing and cliched treatment disguised as a clever and sensational plot.With its strengths such as hard hitting dialogues in climax,whether ISM can overcome its weaknesses to survive at boxoffice or not we need to wait and see
